MIRABELLE HADDON

Dance Artist, Choreographer and Teacher
Mirabelle Haddon is a Deaf dance artist, performance maker, and educator based in London. She works across Contemporary Dance, Choreography, and Performance art as both a Performer and Maker, with performances and projects presented Nationally and Internationally.
As a disabled artist, Mirabelle's practice foregrounds Deaf and disabled perspectives, using embodiment, improvisational scores, and new materialist approaches to cultivate world-building and transitional performance landscapes.
Alongside her performance practice, Mirabelle is a Teaching Artist with Candoco Dance Company, where she develops Crip-informed approaches to movement and education that centre care, curiosity, and embodied dialogue. Her pedagogy draws on contemporary and community dance practices, integrating improvisational games, structured movement phrases, and sensory-based scores.
